Masterfly insurance

For an additional fee of 1,500 euros on your air transport operation we offer the following cover, in addition to the legally established guarantees and compensation:

1. Punctuality Guarantee: If your flight suffers a delay to its departure of more than 3.5 hours, we refund 25% of the cost of the leg which suffered the delay, in addition to the airport services (food and courtesy facilities) laid down in our contract. This clause does not apply only in conditions of adverse weather conditions at the departure or destination airport, or if the delay is caused by a strike directly affecting the air transport operation, or if caused by a request from the charterer, or as a result of the late arrival at the airport of passengers for the chartered flight, for whatever reason.
   
   
2. If the delay means that a further air or land transport connection is lost, we cover the cost of the lost connecting ticket paid by the client (not that of the new connection), and will pay for one night in a hotel if needed, as well as 30 euros per passenger for expenses if an overnight stay is required. This clause applies only if the client can demonstrate that the connection was booked on a means of transport departing at least 2:30 hours after the scheduled arrival of the chartered flight, and providing that the connection was to depart from a location within a 50-kilometre radius of the destination airport of the chartered flight. In order to register a claim for this type of compensation, the client must provide the original document (ticket) for the lost connection or, in the case of electronic tickets, a copy of the booking with the airline booking code. Car rental costs are not payable. This clause does not apply only in conditions of adverse weather conditions at the departure or destination airport, or if the delay is caused by a strike directly affecting the air transport operation, or if caused by a request from the charterer, or as a result of the late arrival at the airport of passengers for the chartered flight, for whatever reason.
   
   
3. In the case of lost luggage, initial compensation of 150 euros per item of lost luggage, and a further 300 euros if the luggage does not appear within the next 5 days. In this case the PIR lost luggage form must be presented no more than 2 hours after the arrival of the flight at its destination.
   
   
4. In the case of diversion to an alternative airport as a result of weather conditions, we take care of all land transport costs to the final destination of the chartered flight. (Under the standard contract the cost in such cases is split 50-50 between the Charterer and the Airline.)
   
   
5. In the case of an air accident on the chartered service, in addition to the cover offered by the aircraft insurance itself, Empty Leg will make a oneoff and immediate payment of the following sums to the charterer:
   
   1. 600,000 euros in the case of the death of at least one passenger on the aircraft involved, and as a direct result of the air accident.
   2. 35,000 euros in the case of the hospitalisation for a minimum of 24 hours of at least one passenger on the aircraft involved, and as a direct result of the air accident.
   3. The two forms of compensation are compatible, meaning that the maximum sum of this cover is limited to 635,000 euros per charter contract.

In the event that more than one aircraft is chartered under the same contract, the cost of the insurance
is 1,500 euros for the first aircraft, and 750 euros for each additional aircraft. If the contract involves a series
of flights to the same destination, on different dates, the cost of the insurance is 1,500 euros for each day
of operations (this item generally refers to a series of flights by tour operators during one season).

The cost of the insurance does not include VAT.

PRICING EXAMPLES:

• 1 Aircraft chartered for one flight on the route MADRID-PRAGUE: 1,500 euros.
• 2 Aircraft chartered for one flight each on the route MADRID-PRAGUE, both on the same day: 2,250 euros.
• 1 Aircraft chartered for one flight on the route MADRIDPRAGUE-MADRID: 1,500 euros.
• 2 Aircraft chartered for one flight each on the route MADRID-PRAGUE-MADRID, both on the same day: 2,250euros.
• 1 Aircraft chartered for one weekly flight on the routeMADRID-TENERIFE-MADRID: 1,500 euros per day of operations.
