ATR42-300 / 500 / 600 ATR

Twin-turboprop regional airliner built in France and Italy by ATR (Avións de Transport Régional). The ATR family was designed based on a high-wing twin-turboprop aircraft. The aim of the company was to develop an efficient aircraft offering greater operational flexibility and maximum passenger comfort. It was named ""ATR 42"" due to its 42-seat standard configuration, although it can actually accommodate between 40 - 50 passengers. The aircraft serves as the basis for the larger ATR 72. The ATR 42 has three main variants: ATR42-300, ATR42-500 and ATR42-600.
