Boeing 737-200 Boeing

The Boeing 737 is an American short- to medium-range twinjet narrow-body airliner manufactured by Boeing. The 737 was developed and derived from Boeing's 707 and 727. The Boeing 737 is the best-selling jetliner in aviation history. This model has been manufactured non-stop by Boeing since 1967. The 737 led to nine new variants -the Next Generation series (-600, -700, -800 and -900) is still in production. These variants will be replaced in the future by a more modern version known as Boeing 737 MAX. Many 737s are used in markets that used to use aircrafts of the 707, 727, 757, DC-9 and MD-80/MD-90 series, and it currently competes with the Airbus A320 family. According to a study, there is an average of 1,250 Boeing 737s airborne at any given time, with two departing or landing somewhere every five seconds.
